“At the dedication ceremony for the Greenwood Public Library held in August of 2002 I remarked that one of the nicest things about this project was the fact that even after 440+ days of construction the General Contractor, the Architect, the Library Board and I were still all speaking to each other.
While I meant it as a humorous moment in the ceremony, and while people chuckled, it was also very meaningful. Many times I have known of construction projects in which the General Contractor and the library owners were locked in contentious battles to even complete the project.
The Greenwood Public Library construction project of 2002 as well as a couple of smaller projects that Eden has also completed for the Library have all gone extremely well. The reason for the success of those projects has been in great part do to Eden’s staff and their commitment to honesty and integrity.
